History 2001 Karma Monlam
Joined Central School for Tibetans Simla in 1962. Passed 8th grade from the same school. Did Indus trail training in Pachmarhi. Obtained Acharya (MA) degree from Central Institute for Higher Tibetan Studies, Sarnath, Varanasi in 1979.
Joined the Department of Education of the Tibetan government-in-exile, as the editor for the English-Tibetan Dictionary project.
Participated in Seminars and conferences in India, USA, Italy, Germany, and the Netherlands since 1982.
Published works include
- Special discourse by HH the Dalai Lama on Bodhicharyavatara (Hindi translation).
- The Status of Tibet by Michael C. Van Walt Praag (Tibetan translation).
- Transliteration manual (English - Tibetan).
- The New English-Tibetan Dictionary
He is currently the In-charge of the Publications section of the Department of Education of the Tibetan government-in-exile in Dharamshala.
