History 2001 JJI Exile Brothers

We are a three-brothers band living in McLeod Ganj, Dharamshala.

We formed this band in 1998 with the great support of our mom. She is our manager and director and our main driving force. So far we have given various performances in and around Dharamshala. The highlight of our career has been one performance before His Holiness the Dalai Lama. We also had the good fortune to perform before the Gyalwa Karmapa.

Through our band and music, we aim to inspire the younger Tibetans to fight for our beloved country through non-violent means. It is our firm belief that music is an universal language to bring people together and to spread our message of nonviolence and peace. Through music we feel that we can make a difference in the lives of people. Through our message we aim to create more awareness about Tibet in a world that seems to be misled by Chinese propaganda and allegations.

We have more than 30 songs of our own. Some of the lyrics were written by Mr Lhasang Tsering, a former President of the Tibetan Youth Congress. We have not yet produced our first album, which is our life-long dream.

Despite obstructions, we will never give up until we reach our goal. WE have fans from around the world for whom we went to perform but we need financial support. Our website is: JJIExileBrothers.com
